Full Time Charya Nritya Buddhist Ritual Dance Diploma Course

Bringing together Buddhist Ritual Dance together with Experiential Buddhist Foundation Studies

and Specialising in Teaching Charya Dance to class 1-8 children

Duration: 2 years,  full time. This course can also be taken on a module basis. Each module must be taken as one unit only. 

 

Format: In-Person and Online or Online only.

 

Location: Students will spend part of the day studying in the Charya studio. In the afternoons they will study either in-person at Abiding Heart's centre or opt to join class through our online classroom. 

 

Description: Abiding Heart is now offering a specialised training route for those interested in full training in Charya dance. Charya  is a Newari Buddhist ritual dance. This new and unique course brings together intensive training in Buddhist Charya dance anchored in the Buddhist view, meditation and pedagogical application.

Fee: 

US$4,000 per module (4 payments) or

US$8,000 per year (2 payments)

Additional processing charges per transaction apply.

For contemplative studies classes students are asked to cover the cost of arts and crafts materials independently.
